The physical work

Turn a cleanup concern into work that can be completed.

A notice may describe more than one issue. A pile of discarded materials, unwanted growth and a damaged entry can require different kinds of work even when they concern the same property. We help identify the cleanup and maintenance tasks Alpine can perform and discuss them with you as a practical scope.

You can contact us before or after receiving a notice. If you already have one, a photo can be a useful shortcut: text it to (530) 249-0592 or email info@alpinepropertypreservation.com. You do not need to organize a detailed project packet before calling.

Junk and debris cleanup

Removal of approved discarded items and ordinary debris from the areas included in the work.

Weed and overgrowth abatement

Cutting and removal of unwanted growth in the agreed areas, with the property's conditions and any notice considered.

Property-maintenance repairs

Suitable small repairs to doors, hardware and other property details that fall within Alpine's maintenance scope.

Securing and completion photos

Discuss authorized securing where needed, along with photographs documenting the agreed work after completion.

Chico and Butte County

The right work starts with the right notice.

The City of Chico identifies accumulated junk, trash and debris among its common code violations. Its Code Enforcement division also addresses weed abatement on vacant properties. Those are concrete cleanup needs that can be discussed with Alpine; a general concern about appearance does not by itself tell us what an agency requires.

Butte County Code Enforcement covers unincorporated areas of the county, separately from incorporated Chico. County case categories include junk in public view, nuisance cleanup and unsafe structures, including unsecured vacant buildings. Requirements depend on the property and the issue, so a Chico mailing address alone should not be used to assume which agency issued the notice.

The official resources below provide agency information. If you need clarification of a cited requirement, the office that issued the notice is the source for that answer. Alpine handles the agreed physical cleanup and maintenance work.

A useful result

Address the listed work, then consider what comes next.

A cleanup should be specific about the items being removed and the areas being addressed. For an owner clearing a neglected property, that might mean removing discarded household items, cutting unwanted growth and handling suitable small repairs. For a vacant property, securing and follow-up checks may also be useful. The combination depends on the site rather than a fixed package.

Completion photographs can show the work that was carried out and give you a record for your files. If other maintenance remains, we can discuss it separately. Follow-up care can also be considered where unwanted growth or repeated dumping is an ongoing concern.

Ordinary cleanup does not cover every condition that can appear on a notice. Hazardous-material removal, structural remediation and work requiring a licensed specialist need the appropriate provider. We keep the scope clear so a cleanup request is not mistaken for a promise to resolve every issue at the property.

A few useful answers

Before we get started.

Can you help before I receive a code violation notice?

Yes. You can request debris cleanup, weed abatement or maintenance because the property needs attention. A notice is not required to hire Alpine.

Will the cleanup close my code-enforcement case?

The issuing agency determines compliance and whether a case can close. Alpine performs the agreed cleanup and maintenance work and can provide completion photos; we do not promise an agency decision or dismissal of a citation.

Do you offer weed abatement as part of this service?

Yes. Weed and overgrowth abatement can be part of a code-notice cleanup or a separate property-preservation need. Contact us to discuss the area and the work required.

Are you part of the City of Chico or Butte County?

No. Alpine Property Preservation is an independent service provider. Official notices, interpretation of requirements and enforcement decisions remain with the responsible public agency.
